An Evening with Clint Smith

Please join us on Tuesday, November 1st at the Memorial Union’s Shannon Hall to welcome author Clint Smith to speak about his narrative nonfiction debut How the Word is Passed. The event is from 7-8:30pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm. This keynote event for the Go Big Read program is free and open to the public, with no tickets or preregistration required.

The event will also be livestreamed on the Go Big Read website: gobigread.wisc.edu, with no preregistration required for virtual attendance. For community members, a recording of the event will be posted on the Go Big Read website for two weeks (it will also likely take us a few days to render and upload this recording). For UW-affiliated students, staff, and faculty, the recording will remain available for the duration of the academic year.
