Convocation

With a new school year starting, new students are starting to fill the campus for the start of an unprecedented year. Normally, incoming students are welcomed to campus by Chancellor Becky Blank during convocation, where they also receive their own copies of the Go Big Read book. This year, convocation was moved onto an online format, but don’t worry, new students will still be able to receive and engage with this year’s Go Big Read book, Parkland! University Housing has taken on the task of seeing that all new students in the dorms receive a copy of the book, and those students who will not be joining us in the fall can request an ebook version of the Parkland by emailing us at gobigread@library.wisc.edu
